You have made a wise choice. I know our tastes in films aren't totally right-on all the time, but I think we'd both agree on the Stink-ee Factor here, as it's enough to gag a maggot. But, if you have the time and money to spare and actually like watching bad movies (it was entertaining, I laughed a lot) - have at it.

As for Bubba, you'll love it! I nearly peed my pants with delight! Despite being a totally far-fetched Elvis/Horror movie, it's one of those "feel good" films as well. Ossie Davis is adoreable.

You hate the Theatre Experience? Really?

I guess I get that though. I'm very particular in the way in which I go to movies. I always go to empty showings and try to go opening day if it's something important. I miss being a projectionist--I had the theatre all to myself! I was SPOILED.

I just knew that movie was going to suck. I'll just take my money and go see shaun of the dead again. I know you hate SMG but the grudge is really fuckin' cool! Actually you could be spared from her and see the original version, it's called ju-on and of course it's better than the remake!
So kitties abound at the pony shack! What colour are they? Is little cat long cat getting uber-crazy-protective yet? What ya gonna do with the little squishy things?

The kitties are AWESOME!!! They're all stripey, but much darker than Oliver. They're going to be brown n' black stripeys. Very cute! So far, she's not being too overly protective of them. She seems to trust us, and she even let Lisa hold them this morning (she knew she shouldn't, but couldn't stop herself).

We're going to keep them until they finish nursing, and then we'll have to get rid of them. Either give them to people we know or... Something. No way we can keep them.

It wasn't just SMG that rubbed me the wrong way. The first time I saw the ad, I thought to myself "Gee, trying to look like The Ring are we?" The next day, I saw a new ad with the caption "The Scariest Movie Since The Ring!" Puh-lease. It seems as though nobody wants to be an individual anymore. People will only come if they think it's exactly like... Whatever...

I thought the CGI looked really bad, too. I miss makeuuuuuuuuup!!!

Man, I am so retro. When I go to the bathroom, I pretty much poop the 80s.

Where do I sign them up? I know PLENTY of people to recommend to this program.

Well, d00ds, not even a 50% discount on the ticket price could have turned this suckbag into a winner.

Damn d00d. That blows SO hard. I almost went to see at last night myself--but it would have been at the ghetto $4 theatre, so it wouldn't have been a huge deal. Here's my question though... Is it more wannabe suspense/mystery or wannbe horror? I'm trying to figure out if I can take my Mom to see it. (Keep in mind, my mom is a Court TV/CSI/forensic obsessed freak so she can handle more than your average mom-type.) I just figure that even though it's going to suck, it will be better than some other movie I'll be forced into seeing over Thanksgiving.

It's more of a wannabe suspense film. In all, it's a really great story (and even very suspenseful) - just don't go looking for a lot of great dialogue because it simply isn't there.

A Mom would probably like it :)

Thanks for taking the bullet for us on that one. I'd been considering it ever since I saw all the neat promo stuff they had at Horrorfind.

The image of the girl with the phreaky headgear on the poster is by far the coolest piece of imagery in the film, and I wouldn't say the sequence lasted any more than 5 minutes (if that).

This dude needs: a) some experience!; and b) a co-writer.
