d00d. You totally just reminded me of our Florida & Cape Cod family vacations. On the drive down & back, it was all about my Mom's "Florida tapes" - Crowded House, Tears for Fears, Simply Red, Spandau (sp?) Ballet, Hall & Oates....good shit. :) I wasn't as fond of her Dan Fogelberg, though "Run for the Roses" wasn't a bad song :)

Wow. Yer Mum sounds really cool. I wish I could say the same. It's just country muzak and fundamentalist christianity here!

My Dad makes up for her lack of cool, however. I think we bought him a Metallica CD a few years ago for his birthday, and he wants EMINEM's latest for Giftmas :)
