hair grows about a 1/2 inc a month, but you could try biotin or hair skin and nail vitamins not sure if they work outside of making your hair more thick. I know the LHCF people are nuts about megatek which is for horses :kanyeshrug: go over to lhcf they are into hair growth.

I use Organic Root Stimulator Olive Oil products, which I love. I'm also trying Castor Oil to seal in the moisture.

The internet is your friend, when you have the time to scour it and find things. You can't alter hair growth rate? Are you kidding me? There are tons of herbs, sprays, essential oils to STIMULATE HAIR GROWTH!

When I did my big chop, I used to put my hair in little balls/bantu knots all over my head at night, I'm a strong believer that the extra "tug" from metal free ponytails helps promote hair growth.

Do nightly scalp massages with a good oil, to help stimulate your roots.

Wear a plastic cap, then cover up with a satin cap, the heat will get your roots stimulated for hair growth(do this while you sleep, your natural body heat works wonders!).

This one is silly, but I used to do it. Lay upside down to get the blood flowing to your scalp better, I read that on a forum once. And the girl's hair was a nice BSL length if I remember correctly.

But, agreed. Healthy and strong hair, does equal hair growth and being able to keep the growth. Take care of your ends! ;) ..hope that helps
