I use aloe vera gel to slick back my edges. It does wonders, plus it's natural and moisturizing compared to regular gels. It also helps make the new growth more manageable.

I use it straight from the bottle, but on occasion, I'll mix it with S-Curl.

I agree with Kisha, its great for edges. I also sometimes use it after a wax as it cools down the pain. You can also use it after being out in the sun too much/sunburn.
