Perhaps it is a reminder not to let chances slip past you, perhaps, your dad wanted to say something to that effect.

It is father's day, so more so for him to have you visit.

Take care.

Wow. I guess it is. I hadn't noticed yet. I love my dad. It may sound odd, but it felt good to feel sad this morning. It was something I needed. The people we love are never far away from us so long as we make a place for them in our lives. And the presence of our loved ones runs the whole gamut of emotions. Always has, always will.

Take it easy. See you in a couple of weeks. :)

I'll just agree with Wraa up there.

*Hug* I'll be in CU this upcoming weekend, let me know if you'll be around and want to hang out.

I still have dreams about my dad all the time. (He died when I was 10.) Usually, it's a "Fooled you all! I've been alive all this time" dream. I think that's because he was such a joker, it's entirely feasable in my mind, or just wishful thinking.

Although I always wake up sad, it's so nice to be able to see my dad, if only in the dreams. I sure do miss that guy. He was a terrible husband, and an irresposible dad, but he was MY dad, and he loved me. I think he'd be damn proud of me now... hell, he'd probably have joined me out here.

I'm sad you are sad, but glad you had a good/bad/sad/whatever dream, and it made you wistful.
