Man... I don't know what's with me tonight... I've been listening to Arabic music on YouTube (instead of finishing my midterm), and it's really reinforcing this desire I've lately been feeling (really strongly) to get out and see the world, really see the world. I don't even know how I would begin to do it short of getting into a graduate program

One word for you: Morocco. I know an sca merchant who mostly imports stuff from people he's met on his travels there, and every time I see him, I want to go a little bit more... sniff...

Interesting is the word 'culture' starts with the word cult. Hmmmmm. What is the history of the word anyway.

I would really like to come down and see you guys sometime soon. I've been really poor though and gas is fucking expensive. I don't expect gas to go down, but I'm getting more hours at work, so that should equlaize things. When I can spare a weekend off work, and the money for an extra tank of gass, I'll be calling you all to see if there's a good weekend coming up. :)

And I'm not sure about the origins of the word culture, actually. If I stumble across it, I'll let you know.
