Since a couple of you have e-mailed to ask, I thought I'd post and mention that everything is just fine here in Boggy Bayou. ( Gas and Cash )

I've been following it on the news. I can't even imagine it. It looks so surreal. It's crazy because just three months ago I was in New Orleans in some of those spots, like that 10 mile road over the water, and now most of the city is under water and that road is just cut up.
It's so unbelievable. I live in the midwest so I've never experienced a hurricane, some tornado like weather, but not hurricanes. I bet my experiences pale in comparison.

It makes me even more worried for people, and even the animals that are in need down there.

I grew up in Idaho/Utah, so you can imagine that coming to Hurricane Alley was a huge shock. I'd dealt with huge blizzards, not tropical weather.

This is a new experience for me, watching a hurricane from the outside.

I say it 'Mo-beel'. I'm from New York City. Saying 'Mow-bee-yawl' will take a THOUSAND HOURS, and I don't have that kind of time!

At least you're coming close to the pronounciation ^.^

Of course it takes a thousand hours! It's hot down here, and we don't do anything quickly.
