So, the other day Ruvic did her Life in the UK examination as part of her Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK visa application. Thankfully, Ruvic passed so we just have to wait for the application to be approved ( Read more... )

Does Ruvic not get to stay in the UK indefinitely by virtue of being married to you?

Well it would be nice if it was simple.
Understandably they need to check people don't have fake marriages nor lack integration with UK life.
You had it easy...
First applied for Proposed Marriage/Civil Partnership Visa - 6 months duration (£500)
Second applied for Leave to Remain Visa - 2 years (£395)
Now applied for Indefintie Leave to Remain - Unlimited stay (£750) Plus £32 for mandatory Life in UK Exam
Total cost: £1677

Lol i passed the test but only just:) 75% :)

Some of the questions are very odd
"After the Second World War where did British textile and engineering firms send agents to find workers?"
