It took me a while to get to watching this episode.

The problem is I have to watch Spartacus late because it's not kid friendly, and often I've gotten sucked into something else. I've played a lot with my new phone, finished some half read books, caught up on about 8 months of Invincible. But this was a really fun episode and I'm sorry I waited. ( Read more... )

I liked the scene with Lucretia, Baty (hehe), and the fluffers too. They are very fascinating in their brokenness, and their relationship and plotting are so twisted that it's hard to look away. I think, thus far, they are my favorite part of the show.

Uh, aside from the well-oiled men and their epic, choreographed fights. Because, yeah, that's just fun on multiple levels. Hehe.

I like Ilithyia as well; I agree that her fascination with the gladiators is very much a sort of audience perspective. So wrong it's right fun.

I guess that's why they call it a LEWD-is.

Oh. Wow. I am going to think this every time I hear and see that word now. Seriously, I cannot stop laughing.

Yeah I agree Batiatis is fascinating. I want to say he is nowhere near as crafty as he thinks he is, but heKs pretty crafty really. He just seems to have these big blind spots about how he is percieved.
