If you happen to know, please tell me the episode names of genre shows like Star Trek or what have you where the characters dress up like cowboys.

And what is the Shane Battlestar Galactica episode called?

Lois and Clark where Tempus is a cowboy (same episode with Robin Hood and "Loislainne")

You want science fiction shows that visit the wild, wild west? I don't think I can help you with that one. I know that the original Star Trek had at least one episode where they were in the west (I think). Joan Collins was in it as a guest star. Maybe you can get the name of the episode from imdb?

As far as cowboy shows, I love the Young Riders! Have yourself a little Jimmy on me.

That was City on the Edge of Forever... was it the wild west, though? I'm pretty sure it was the 30s or so.

Star Trek: Spectre of the Gun I think is the episode you might be looking for for that show. I'm not sure if there are more or not.

Unfortunately in "Spectre of the Gun", my recollection is that the crew did not appear in western garb, although their opponents did. The only one I can think of is a Star Trek: Next Generation episode called "A Fistful of Datas" where Data, Worf, and a couple of others were playing Cowboy in a holodeck.
