two days ago my flatmate Isaac saw a man die. He was walking down the street and there was a homeless guy, being given cpr by the police and then the ambulance, and then they stopped. he said it was weird. my friend gela was across the road eating her dinner in a cafe and saw it all happen. she said to me last night

Reminds me of a Smashing Pumpkins video, "Try, Try, Try", which was also a short film about two junkies and a typically harsh day in their lives. It was supposedly made in Northern Europe (I forget where), but it was so different to how things are over here that it really got to me...
I guess, no matter where you live you gotta take the good with the bad. It's a shame that we have to get used to the bad. :(
