Took Alice to a new vet today to have this growth checked out. I really liked him, Dr. Baker at North Main Vet Hospital in Royal Oak. The visit was supposed to be $30, which is still $15 less than the old vet, but after the exam an assistant came in and said he was only going to charge me $10! That was pretty fucking awesome. last day of work. just got back from lunch HOUR. i REALLY have enjoyed having a full paid hour for lunch. ate, went for a walk. it is nice and cool out. waiting to bid on Prozac Nation DVD. strike when the time is right! WHAM!

Scott's uncle took us out on his boat. Went snorkeling in the coral reefs with nurse sharks, one of the best experiences of my life! Intimidating though. So my mom's friend works for the Kelly Services Temp Agency. She told her boss about me and now I have an interview on Wednesday! It sounds like I basically have the job. On the phone she said, "I'll interview you, give you some tests, and then get you working." It pays $10 to $11 an hour, depending on what jobs I work. I will get new ones every ( Read more... )

I put Alice and Squid together in the tub today (their first time meeting without cage bars inbetween them), and they did wonderful! They actually fell asleep snuggling in the tub! Julie and I are going to the Alanis acoustic concert at the Masonic Temple on June 8th!!! I am soooo freaking excited! This is going to be incredible! We have seats on the main floor! AAAHHH!!!!
