And to my auntie, especially. I'm afraid she's draining herself by being overly-appreciative to those showing support, love, and sympathy. She collapsed to the floor at the viewing from sheer exhaustion. Then again, after embracing and thanking what seemed like hundreds of people, it's only logical. Her boys will be the ones to hold her together, b/c it's hit her HARD.

the smartest thing I've heard in monthes......... ides_of_march78 April 15 2003, 08:08:58 UTC
First, let me say that I'm sorry for your loss and I hope that you and your family will bond and grow closer from this tragic event.

Also, when you discussed marriage, when you said that people put too much emphasis on what feels good rather than what IS good.
That's the most intelligent statement I've heard in monthes. Pure truth right there.

Sorry we been missin'. I'm not avoiding your calls. Promise.
Yesterday, when you called the first time, the funeral was literally about to begin. I had to scat as soon as it ended, b/c I had to get back to work right away. The second time you phoned, I had hit the hay.

The things that FEEL good are temporal and fleshly...these things pass away...vain, vain, vain...
