Timmy! Oh, poor, Timmy! He so just doesn't get it... it really is like there's 2 different conversations going on at all times, isn't it? One that Bruce/Dick says and the one that Tim hears.

So sad.

There's a part of me that wonders what Jason's reaction would (will eventually?) be; beyond a dead!Jack, if the little street boy in him might 'get' it a little more or something?

Anyway, great job!

Yes, that's exactly the trouble they're having. They're speaking two different languages and neither side realizes that. It's heartbreaking.

I actually plan to write Jason meeting Beloved!Tim. It will be...an explosive meeting to say the least.

Thank you!

That really is the only proper response to this Tim, isn't it?

Yes, looking forward to Jason's reaction...if it is possible in this 'verse... parmanya April 29 2012, 09:39:04 UTC
Don't know where Jason is along his timeline, in this 'verse, but - well, let's say that a brief canon! peek at his rap sheet in one issue, included a # in a column about convictions -- next to a named-crime that would only work as prostitution...

(Timmy not the only bat to have suffered abuse...and without address...)

I don't have the citation, but it was one of the known wiki's (that's what I was reading through, for my Jason-research...)

Thank you for writing all of these, and taking the time and effort to post them for us to read!

Oh, it's possible. After I post the part that comes after this Jason will make an appearance.

This verse's timeline is...odd. But it works. I think it helps that Tim is wonderfully unreliable narrator so time is naturally a bit off anyway.

That's a good point and it will definitely factor into Jason's reaction. (I know that aspect of Jason's childhood features a lot in fanon, but I didn't know it was canon. Very interesting.) There is no question that both suffered, but there is of course a difference (in this verse) in that Jason has a frame of reference for knowing that the people who abused him were wrong (even if he may think he deserved it on some level). Tim doesn't really understand that what was done to him was wrong. So their interactions are going to be... well, it will be interesting to write it.

Your welcome! Thank you for reading.
