She got me thinking about movies... I don't often see movies in the theatre these days, and when I watch TV it's 99.9% of the time documentary type stuff anymore. Looking at her impressive list, I got to wondering just how many movies I've seen in the last year...

I have an extremely busy period coming up, but maybe I can catch some of the Iran/Israel films with you.

Would love for you to! I sent a flyer home with Karen, right? It's 7 pm Tuesday nights, usually the first and third Tuesday of the month unless there's a holiday on a Tuesday, and it's in Laiken auditorium at the JCC. So this month it's next week and the week after due to New Year's. Call me, or just spontaneously show up on a whim! :)

I *love* Tarzan Ties His Shoes!1

Let me know if "West Bank Story" is one of the Bridging the Gap films, because i really want to see that one. And hey, i wouldn't mind tagging along to those if you want company.

And i love the weird intersections of our lives that make it so "Dead at the Box Office" is on your list.

It was that or "Tarzan Finds a Lawyer." :)

West Bank Story is not. (I think technically that's a US film even though it takes place in Israel--Ari Sandel is from California.) You can check out the lineup at the Indiana Film Society Website, though, and see if anything else catches your fancy!

Hey, I not only watched that awful piece of zombie doody, but I was selling it at Gencon. :) Ryan brought a whole stack of them and we had it on a video loop in the Croc booth. God, did I get tired of the screaming... But we did sell quite a few copies!

I'm deeply disturbed that so many people keep track of the films that they have watched... If I had to, I could possibly manage to list all the ones that I saw in the theatre, but there's no way I could list all the ones that I saw at home or the like. You people are scary!

Oh... Keep meaning to ask... Are you still working on the Star Wars lego exhibit?

And happy new year!

The only reason I can do it is because I don't watch movies that often--honestly, the only ones in the "on my own" category are ones that I have purchased or received as gifts. I don't keep track, the way Karen does--I just can recall what I've watched because it's such a small set. (And the IFS films I can go to the website and go "yep, saw that, saw that, missed that..." :)

No, it's LEGO Castles. Working out a license with Lucasfilm was going to take too long for our timeline.

Happy New Year to you as well!
