ooh ooh! HI NINJA!!!! (Again, do not judge me by my flist)
1. I was a huge Star Trek TNG fan in high school. I still lust after Patrick Stewart. 2. One of my favorite comfort foods is baked beans on top of cottage cheese. 3. My bachelors thesis was a study of mouse mating habits in the presence of pheromone, which meant I had to watch hours of mouse porn. 4. I cant make a raspberry noise because I dont have the little piece of skin that attaches your upper lip to your gums 5. Nearly every male celebrity I ever had a crush on has turned out to be queer - Neil Patrick Harris, Chad Allen, David Bowie, George Michael, Lance Bass 6. My first real kiss was probably a felony - not on my end. 7. I had a pet ferret named after Doogie Howser MD.
Wow, that horseradish thing is totally true for me too! I am coming to like chiles, but I never had trouble with wasabi. They're really different because chili-based spice is in its oil and it sticks to your mouth and throat and lips; horseradish goes up your nose but dissipates quicker.
(I figure between chile and chili I'll get one of them right. Only the New Mexicans seem to use "chile" though.)
Thanks! I will refrain from commenting on your athletic ability, at least until I don't owe you a visit any more. :)
Yes, it boggles me that there are people who think that hot food is hot food, and don't see the vast ocean of difference between pepper-hot and horseradish-hot. They're completely different chemicals. One is agnoizingly painful and one is bracingly refreshing (to me, anyway.)
I've suspected for a long time that I may have some sort of genuine alleric sensitivity to capsaicin. I don't like bell peppers either--they make me sort of sick--and I don't know if they have some chemical in them that I react to. Probably, because the riper they are, the sicker they make me feel. The smell of roasted red peppers is a big quease-inducer for me...
I, also, have not seen a full episode of any of those reality TV shows, although I have seen a fair amount of a few, due to spousal interest. Then again, I don't have cable or satellite, so I'm a bit odd as far as entertainment TV goes, anyway.

I. Do you make outlines all-OCDish, too? I'm stupid anal about making outlines with I, then A, then 1,2,3, then i., ii., iii., etc.
III. It's not fountain pens for me, although it would be if i let myself. It's rollerball pens. I have crappy handwriting in anything but a rollerball pen, and i *hate* finishing something with a different pen. I'll recopy something instead.
IV. Yep.
V. Can't stand peppers, but i freaking love horseradish - i'm the one at the party making St. Elmo's Diablo Sauce for my shrimp cocktail - and spicy curry. But i'm a big wuss around Mexican food.
Because they're couuuuusins, identical cousins.... (;

I. Yes. :)
V. Don't like curries much at all; but St. Elmo's shrimp sauce is to die for. I go there about once a year, and it's always fun seeing someone at the next table over take a big gob of the stuff on a shrimp, unprepared for what follows...

But what does this say about Patrick Stewart?
(Oh wait, he's British, so that explains it.)
