I found out that the trial for my Aunt will begin in October. A big shot CSI person is coming down from NYC to be on our side too. The hospital finally admitted that there were 2 puncture wounds in the bowel. They are fucked. Anyone who was at the hospital could be called to the stand to give testimony.

That sounds like great news. Those assholes should have done their jobs, or 'fessed up to making ridiculous erors as soon as they were made instead of driving things to this point.

Yes and no. It's good news because hopefully some justice will be done for my Aunt's death, but that also means that we have to relive her last days at this trial. The doctor could face murder charges and that's why he never fessed up to anything and the hospital refused to release the piece of bowel that was evidence. They are also looking at being shut down over this. It's not a pleasant situation for the family, but I hope they all hang themselves.
