Did I mention Saturday night was fun with Wendy, fran_j and Mr Fran Doug? Well it was, even if the DVD player in the front room broke and we had to watch 50 Films to See Before You Die to amuse ourselves. Wendy stayed over to help get the paint to sort my room on Sunday, only it was pissing it down so we didn't bother. So my room is still yellow for

The Painted Veil was excellent! My feelings about Edward Norton are mixed but I loved him in this movie.

Glad you had a good Bank holiday weekend despite mishaps! Can I tag along on Thursday too? I'm in London for a couple of days. Or do something tonight or tomorrow?

Tonight I'm off to the pub and/or pizza place with Fran before she heads back to her hovel.

Thursday is cinema day don't forget! Wendy and I have the day off work if you want to join us at any point? I think the plan will be something like this:

10am eye test
10:30am Wendy (and Jackie?) meets me at Tottenham Court Road Specsavers and helps me pick out new glasses.
We wander about wishing we where rich and could but lots of nice stuff
11.40 showing of The Painted Veil at Shaftsbury Avenue
We go to Eds for a late lunch and have 5 hours to kill so maybe…
14.50 Wedding Daze at Shaftsbury Avenue
Head off to Wood Green and meet Mel after work for...
