As for Twitter, good luck with avoiding spoilers there. Like with Tumblr, spoilers run rampant. I've been spoiled for shows there before, and by an official news source, not fans. Usually, I just stay off of Twitter the day an episode airs, until after I've seen it.

Other people don't put stuff behind cuts and twitter is a nightmare and it's normally fans posting exact storylines that hacks me off. I just wish people didn't post specific things, I was spoiled re Bobby last season and I was PISSED!!!!
Some people give warnings but some people just post away without any consideration :(

Sometimes I stay on Twitter during an ep and it's okay. Things are vague enough that I'm not spoiled, but other times, as you said, specifics are given. So it can really be a crap shoot. But I know I'm treading dangerous waters if I stay there, so it's really my own darned fault if I'm spoiled. Kind of hard to warn about spoilers on Twitter, unless you use a link to some other resource.
Twitter needs a cut feature. lol

Everyone now has international people on their feeds etc, it just takes some consideration not to post spoilers, but I find people are selfish and just want to post no matter what :(
