oh man I'm not a huge sports fan but I've always been a fan of the mets and always hated the yankees, but ever since I came up to school and all the new englanders are like YEAH RED SOX idk i've developed a hatred for them as well...and might almost hate them more than the yankees as well.

I hate the Yankees as a team but their fans barely bother me anymore because the Sox are SO MUCH WORSE by comparison. My roommate is from Boston and it's unbearable.

Oh maybe I can watch him play against the North Carolina's MLB baseball team.

OH WAIT.

But yeah, as a Yankees fan, I can admit that we can sometimes be annoying and I can totally understand the people that do not like the team. But Red Sox fans are just OBNOXIOUS, especially the ones that have no ties to Boston but are fans just because they "hate the Yankees" and whatnot.

Every team has annoying fans, but the Sox are especially blessed on that front. Don't get me wrong, though, Yankees are second to worst. :)

Gah, I hate Red Sox fans! Pretty much all of my friends in high school loved the Sox, and the whole state is obnoxious during the World Series. Not that I like Yankees fans either, but man.

I really don't care that the Patriots lost, but I am very glad I wasn't at home (or a school that cares) when it happened.

I don't know how I would have handled growing up around Sox fans. At least in New York, the Yankees were the worst we had to deal with.

oh whaleser your mets will somehow self destruct just like last year, if another new york team is winning it will be the yankees have no fear. love youu and i wonder if ever again in my life i will have such a poised stealth roll.

Yeah...pretty sure the Mets are going to be 300 times better than the Yankees this season. Derek is past his prime. And to respond to your second statement: no, I don't think you will ever regain the poise you captured at that one shining moment in time.
