I think it's meant to be funny but to be perfectly honest: I've never been a fan of his hair... season 1 was cute and I kinda liked it in season... 3 I guess... but to me now it looks greasy and just disgusting most of the time :(

Sam's hair is kind of questionable sometimes, but Jared's hair is always gorgeous. Yes, there's totally a difference!

Anyway, having said that, Sam's hair is my hero and it saves the world nightly. It's the fourth character on the show. *loves it* :D
