When I was still in high school, my household chore was the family's laundry (altogether we were 8, sometimes 9 or 10 if one or both of Jimm's kids were staying with us). Last weekend we went to see the Seattle Symphony's performance of Mozart's Requiem, which was basically fantastic. Happy 2011, everyone! I had a pretty quiet New Year's; just some Cava with Jeff to celebrate two years of living together, and conversation with others as they arrived home in the wee hours. I feel kind of weird going back through here and seeing how much I used to write down compared to how little I do now. I guess I just have other outlets for what this journal used to provide for me: tumblr, facebook, my photo blog... but still I can't bring myself to leave LJ entirely.
