Hi to all who emailed about the school shooting in Germany. This recent shooting is quite far from me, in a total other province. However, the reverberations are felt even here. Something similar happened 7 years ago in a school in Erfurt, a city only 50 km from me and there has been much discussion as to how the "system" didn't learn from this

There were shootings and psychopaths long before women were a regular part of the work-force. Some single mom's are SAHMs who live off the system - there's no way to tell if that produces a less- or more- well-adjusted child.

The only way I can think of teaching children compassion is to model it. The only way I can think of helping children to feel loved is to model loving others.
