Since I last posted, I've taken on a Senior User Experience Designer role at a great little company called CONTOUR http://contour.com/ . They make portable high-def cameras for use on bicycles, skiing, and other outdoor activities. It's a great camera, tiny, very rugged, and I am in charge of

That's awesome!

So . . . are they going to produce a cam for scuba diving? (Their current offerings only go to 10 meters depth - need at least 70 and preferably deeper - to 140.)

If they did, it should attach to a diving mask, not sure the current rail system would work.

We may down the road, but not right at the moment. Engineering a case that goes beyond 10m is significantly tricky. I'm told there's a 3rd party accessory that will work with the ContourHD (not GPS), but I'll have to get back with you on it.

The other thing is that our cameras are optimized for outdoor lighting situations. I've found that most of the cameras in our category today don't do so well in darker conditions - yet ;)
