Nothing unusual happens before people are obviously brainwashed, does it? Not so much as peculiar behavior until they're clearly not themselves anymore?

I've been trying to come up with theories on it myself the past week. And before, when Ling was a drone, but nothing so far.

Nothing unusual, unless they did something the town didn't approve of and that was why they were brainwashed. But I don't think that's always the case.

It just seems they're focusing on the wrong goals, in my opinion. But as to what I've learned... it already seems to be common knowledge. I would imagine you know more than I do, seeing as you have been here longer.

Not knowing why it happens and therefore assuming you could always be next I would think would keep anyone from getting too comfortable.
