Just a general disclaimer, this rant is based on what I’ve experienced, and it’s my personal opinion. I’ve locked this because it’s a rant, and I don’t particularly want to jump into the fray of this wank. I've decided to make this public, because I feel this needs to be said a little louder.

I think most people are mistaking 'artistic integrity' for 'doing whatever I want because the 'muse' told me to'. You have no idea what a joy it is to hear that they are actually teaching artistic responsibility out there somewhere. *hugs*

Yeah, I completely agree. I feel very lucky that I had such great teachers, and that they taught me and gave me the tools I needed. <3

Yeah. I've being going a little blind with rage every time someone used that effing phrase. That phrase is about understanding and owning what you put out there, not as an excuse to shed their own responsibilities towards their 'art'.
