from the 'Quest Streamline English Method' book

an actual conversation used to demonstate the use of 'each other'.

A: Did you just start working here?
B: No, I've been working here as long as you have!
A: Really? How come we've never seen each other before?
B: I've been on vacation.

haha you came back (to LJ of course). why do you always come back right when i am composing one of the world's most genius entries (this one in particular documenting all of my summer reading for the world since no one at the bookstore ever asks about any of the many books i HAVE read)? :) and i actually had a very similar conversation to that one today, only minus all the humorous ethical issues. person B hadn't been on vacation since SHE started working there, she had just been on vacation since I started working there...so yeah, it's actually entirely different, it just involved the word vacation.

nah dawg. my ETR is my mother's birthday in mid-may. chrissie is coming to visit j-land for the new year. i have about 10 days of paid holidays to take between mid-feb and the end of april... may well be a trip to thailand, but fares to the states are pretty cheap right now. it is hard to say. nice wig, btw. when do i get mine? it's only a matter of time before 'theees sheeet is dope' becomes a STANDARD dr.rex loop.
