I found it very positive that Dean confided in Castiel--unfortunately he was actually confiding in Casifer, so undoubtedly that is going to come back to bite Dean, but admitting his vulnerability to someone else is the start of getting help.
I wonder about the 'follow your heart' and Mildred's other comment about Dean's heart belonging to someone else. I'd like to believe it's referring to Dean's connection to Sam, but given how it was presented in relative to Dean admitting his attraction to Amara, I interpreted it as as she has transfixed him.
I'd love to be wrong...
This was one of those episodes where the boys trade emotional spaces during it--Sam went from anxious and pessimistic to feeling positive while Dean became more anxious.
Very much a mixed bag of an episode... trading emotional spaces.... yes, that is exactly what the boys' did. Fascinating and yet scary how much a little bit of intel can make such a difference.
