Remember, people: you aren't just voting for the candidates, you are voting for the issues. There are ballot questions, which are very important, both to you and to your state. If you can vote for American Idol (the most democratic system in this, our republic), you sure as hell can vote for the presidency and important state/commonwealth policies

Proof that what I'm saying is true: we're on opposite sides of the political spectrum and yet, we agree on the fundamental reasons for voting. Our right to choose the candidate(s) we prefer is part of the Constitution and we're both entitled to cancel each other out. :P
