I just noticed that someone friended me on here whose entire journal is in cyrillic and while I obviously can't read that, I can see that most of the entries appear to be porn banners. Color me confused.
to get to the Ban and Unban Users page - the FAQ has the instructions to do that (and i Have to look at it every single time *lol*)
This way I don't have to look at their names on my Info page, and they can't comment no matter what.
The Report A Bot button come from the "Hover Menu" which is described on the FAQ, down the bottom. You let your mouse pointer hover over the person icon in their LJ name, and you get a menu of different things you can do.
I didn't know about that one - I realized the way I was thinking of reporting, they have to comment first. If you ban them, you can't do any of the things because they can't comment. Duh. *facepalm*
I love the FAQ's, they really make it easy to find stuff. (which is why I get so mad at people on GothicBoston who claim ignorance. It's not that hard, but when you refuse to learn, that's not my problem)
