Dare I ask if there is any evidence to suggest that there are people who are actually falling for the "Sarah Palin as legitimate VP" stunt? Outside of GOP publicity that is.

Weeeell, McCain has been making great strides in polls recently. Since he appointed her. I think the "Gosh, I'm just an ordinary girl, but look! I have a vagina! Vote for me!" is working - horrendous though that support it.

I am especially tickled (oh, okay, petrified) by the way the GOPs have co-opted fuzzybrained op-ed writers into thinking that any attack on Palin is sexist.

Perhaps the UK Labour Party is trying to learn from across the Atlantic? They are pushing for a leadership contest so they can oust Gordon Brown, maybe to replace him with Cheryl Cole?
