There is a large chunk of the political left that thinks anyone who does not subscribe (at least in public) to cultural moral relativism is an ethno-elitist racist bigot. I'm a moral absolutist, and this gets me thrown in that camp. I'm willing to say that I don't care what your culture says, some things are just wrong.

Further evidence why do not subscribe to either political extreme: they warp the language all out of shape to suit their own conceits. So, by the definition given there, I see what you mean.

Though wrapping my brain around is actually giving me a headache...

The same way some people think the Republican Party is Jesus' own party on earth, when in truth that organization sucks Satan's cock every night.

But, in short, you're saying that, from the POV of the far left, you look rightist. Or something analogous to that.
