So Saturday was my first ever trip to Canada. My mother and I took took the Edmonds ferry to Kingston and then drove up to Port Angelos, WA to catch the 12:15 non-car ferry to Victoria. So with Kelly's parents and my mother visiting, we finally got out and did something. I took the day off on Friday and we went to see the waterfall that is just outside of Snoqualmie, Washington. So last week we had a freaky hail storm. Unlike all of the other hail storms I have seen, this one was made from densely packed snow instead of ice. It was weird having snowballs falling from the sky when it was 40 degrees outside. I posted pictures of it here.

So yesterday I had to ride the train back to Alabama in order to renew my expired drivers license. What a horrible experience that was. I was supposed to be on the train and leaving the station at 8:45 am. As Liz calls it, I had a mental health day. Basically I did no work and went to see a movie , started to read a book, played about 3 hours of DDR, and just had fun.
