Is there truly none here who actually enjoyed going to battle and having a change from the utter tedium of this place?

I found it most satisfying, but you humans sure do seem to keep on sinking to new lows.

Hmm? If you aren't a human, then what are you?

[If they were in person, Loki would be able to tell himself... But for better or worse, this isn't the case.]

[A filter isn't going to get an answer from the demon right off.]

All that needs to be known is that I am no weak and pathetic human.

[Loki partakes in a healthily sized sundae while he waits. ♥]

The self-confident sort, I see.

[Hopefully it is a large one, because Loki will be waiting a long time.]

Far better than incessant whining.

[Food coma... He may or may not look like he just woke up.]

I wouldn't call what you're doing a big improvement over whining...

It's a vast improvement. [Which is very true, he's already met a few more potentially interesting humans.]

If you say so. But as long as you're here, you're equal to every other human here.

You obviously must be new. The typical human here runs away from me in fear.

Ah, is that so? And why is that?

Because I can kill any of them and would be glad to do so. Perhaps you'd enjoy learning firsthand about how the dead really do come back?

[Death is cheap in a place like this.]

Nice of you to offer, but I'd better refuse! Those penalties sound like a pain.

You should ask a man named Kain when he returns again. He has plenty of experience with them considering how many times he's attacked me and died for it.

So he's a persistent fellow. And has he had any successes?

None. Honestly he is quite tedious but if he wishes for death so much I will grant his wish.

[Ouch. "Tedious"... That's a big insult to someone trying so earnestly to kill this guy.]

It must get tiring. I don't suppose you two could talk it out.

[Very, but then how many people can say they have died three times because they attacked one guy? Well, Yuber didn't actually kill Kain the third time, but would have if it wasn't for the giant monster showing up, and the second Kain wished for death, but went down far too quickly, but same difference.]

Doubtful. He doesn't even seem to realize how pathetic he truly is.
