Just because I'm taking a break from Draco/Hermione does not mean I'm going to stop writing. Nope. I said I'd do it someday and here it is-my first Harry/Hermione :)

Years past the point where she should have laced her fingers with his and tugged back and said not her, Harry. Me.
Well at least she realises it NOW. Sadly this isn't a case of "better late than never".
Still, it's very nice to think that Harry is there with his best friend during her first pregnancy.

I firmly believe Harry would be like a second father to the baby, especially when Ron can't be around. I can't imagine any other way they would be, you know?
Wah! Another story with our heroes still married to Weasleys
Hermione's married but I actually wrote this with the mindset that Harry wasn't. But yes, she's much too late in this instance BUT NEVER FEAR. I will be writing happy fic of these two. Just gotta work my way through the angsty plot bunnies for now :)
Thanks so much for reading. I really appreciate it!

I promise that I'll write happy Harry/Hermione too, but this was the first scene that popped into my head when I started to write HHr. I didn't even realize the part about Harry's lost childhood, but it just goes to show you what readers can see that you can't as the author!

LOL. This is exactly how I feel about reading the books expecting a Harry/Hermione ending and then getting blindsided by the Harry/Ginny. I can tell you, I had the biggest WTF expression on my face when I read HBP. Ah, always denied what makes sense >:(
And thank you so much, Krissy. I was a bit nervous posting this&mash;new fandom, a whole new set of readers, but the response so far has been lovely and very encouraging. There's more to come. Promise :)

I don't hate Ron/Hermione, but it just seems so illogical to me *shrug* I think that's better than out and out hating the pairing amiright?
And yes, I do agree. Draco/Hermione would have never happened in JKR's world, but that's half the fun with writing them-or any non-canon pairing really :)
