Warning: Canonically, there is a huge age difference between Jiraiya and Sakura. Our lovely medic is of age, and I imagined her as being in her early twenties as I wrote this.

And yes, those three would rend him limb from limb, have Tsunade heal him, and then rinse and repeat.

I'm pretty sure I started writing this at least two years ago and only found it again when kakasaku had a community chat about posting WIPs. I was surprised at the amount of interest in it, so I fiddled with it just a little more.

It is just slightly naughty but I know Jiraiya would've approved. I miss him.

I imagine not many people would think of them together, or at the very least, admit that they've thought of JirSaku. But I can easily admit to seeing an attraction, if only for the taboo of the huge age difference between them. I personally love the size difference too. Jiraiya towered over a lot of people.

I have a difficult time reading anything with Jiraiya in it. ;____; /forever mourning his loss/ BUT I couldn't resist something from you lol

And it did not disappoint. I think he'd totally be all over an older Sakura in place of Tsunade. Especially a Sakura so willing :D

Since I started this at least two years ago, I think I was going for the hurt/comfort aspect. Jiraiya still pines for Tsunade, but he won't turn down an offer from Sakura either. I probably should've explored the idea of Sakura using a henge to look like Tsunade for Jiraiya but then I think Sakura wouldn't have offered that because she'd want Jiraiya to want her for herself in some small way too, you know?

So complicated... but that's probably another reason why I liked the idea of JirSaku ;)

And yes, I find it hard to revisit that part of the manga. I honestly considered dropping Naruto when I realized that Jiraiya was dead (I was holding out hope). I kept on reading, of course, but I know in my heart that if Kakashi ever kicked it, that would be it. I love Naruto, he's just so likable, but Kakashi's the deal-breaker for me.

I can actually see Sakura doing that though. If she's of sound enough mind to -want- that from him, I don't think it would matter to her, because a part of her would be feeling sorry for him in the first place. So I can see her disguising as Tsunade. BUT I can also see where she'd want him to want her. So it's a toss up really ( ... )

Thank you! I wanted to try for something with a hint of hurt comfort. Sakura had always struck me as being naturally curious, so I think she would be intrigued by the rumours about Jiraiya and how he's such a womanizer. Combine that with what she witnessed probably on a regular basis-Tsunade's rejection of him-and I think there's the possibility of some kind of comfort sex, you know?

I have another idea for a fic, and now that I'm in between courses, I might have the time to start playing with it :)

I very much like how incapable of saying no Jiraiya is...and how determined Sakura is.

...I'm seriously imagining the filthiest smut ever for them right now.

GOOD. Because I have no doubt that Jiraiya knows his way around a woman ;)

I'm sure you were expecting more, but I honestly cannot write a long shot to save my life. Unless I've got a month or two to write it, like we do for fests and challenges. I probably could do something longer, but I either lose interest or I frustrate myself enough that I trash it.

Don't worry about it! I was expecting something a little longer, but I was delighted by what you wrote--I think you took a really interesting moment, and made it one that I could imagine a story around, which is something I really enjoy.

So yes, I think it's the perfect length! Nothing's better than a sharp, clear one shot.
