Ooh... Book week!

Okay, so since I'm sick, I'm probably going to ramble incessantly. I'm sorry in advance.

I had the good fortune of a relatively light homework load this week, and found myself finishing three books! Hooray!

It's confusing to figure out why the word "solitude" occurs often in the book And is called 100 years of solitude.

Ultimately, I believe, every single one of those characters was alone. The entire family was "alone" in his or her own way, very indepdendent in some cases (perhaps a forewarning for me? hmmm). Either way, the town and family lasted 100 years dwelling in solitude.

However, those sandscript scrolls could only be read after 100 years had passed. Why wait 100 years? Just a good, well-rounded number? Who knows!

I'll shut up now. :)
