Intimidation? Read "guts" or "a spine" by the right. The left is still showing limp-wristed conciliatory politics in the face of this. We're getting a fucking CO-OP plan out of the DEMOCRATIC MAJORITY. Week kneed pussies. I'm voting for the other guy this primary. Whoever it is ( ... )

Call it whatever you want, it's clearly doing damage to the Republican Party that it will likely take a long time before they recover from-- and if things keep up at this rate, they may go the way of the Whigs. The numbers in this case really don't lie.

If there's one lesson that 2006 and '08 taught us, it's that Republican lies don't need to be directly addressed. They out themselves and do more damage to the Republicans in the end. In neither of those election years did a major Democrat in office have to step out to refute Republican lies-- that was instead handled rather readily by Americans actually doing their research themselves, specifically amongst the blogosphere. That's precisely what's happening here.

Then why bother with bipartisanship? Why negotiate with or concede to a party that is self-destructing?
