As of today, I am now a student at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. I transfered from HFCC but I have not decided on a major as of yet. I have to meet with an advisor tomorrow and see what credits I am going to have. With my criminal justice credits I earned from HFCC, it might be a good idea to just go ahead and obtain my bachelors degree ( Read more... )

You only need an associates in criminal justice to get hired as an officer. A bachelors degree in anything looks a lot better after the associates. It's common to pick something other then cj for a bachelors so you can move up in the ranks easier, use your degree in something when you retire if you want and use the degree in case something happens that you cant be a cop anymore.

Don't forget my mom too. She still works in the Cottages. I am only taking Criminal Law on Monday nights though. But I'll be around.
