In the chaos and confusion of yesterday's earthquake, Black Hayate tore a muscle. The vet says surgery's the only option, and that it will cost several thousand dollars.
Can anyone recommend a good place to go to get a second opinion?
I can't afford the surgery. No matter how many times I do the math, it's just not in my budget. Between paying off student loans and Dad's hospital bills... my emergency savings just won't cover it. And Black Hayate's not covered by any sort of insurance.
