When the Ghostbusters' early version of the proton pack fails and gets crushed by the subway train, the sound it emits is the same sound of the Millennium Falcon hyperdrive failing in The Empire Strikes Back (1980).

As of January 2019 this film holds the title for 'most disliked' trailer ever on YouTube.

i dont think its as bad as people make it out to be. It's not amazing, but its still enjoyable to watch and i adore Holtzmann! I have such a crush on her

It wasn't terrible, I just found it rather lackluster and I didn't feel like the economy of character served Chris Hemsworth well

ive seen chris in the thor and avenger films and then in this and i have the really unpopular feeling of....hes just not a very good actor :(

agreed. i think its to do with nostalgia and generally remakes of nostalgic things never go down well. The first time i watched it i was disappointed. But i think it was due to all the hype surrounding it.
Because i watched it for the second time last night and i loved it :D and found myself laughing at stuff. I love the characters Patty and Holtzmann, theyre just so good and funny :) and its nice to have a female led movie that doesnt involve a love interest.
