He's really intense and larger than life on stage. He looks the same way in pictures (on purpose, I think... I saw him make the "intense face" for every fan photo).

...but in person, he's kinda small (note how he's not much taller than me), sorta skinny, and rather quiet.

O man i felt the same way when i met him in calgary...he seemed so small and fragile

That show was freakin awesome! =) my butt hurt so much from sitting on those hard plastic chairs. I was surprised by his intensity for 3 straight hours (at least i think it was 3 hours?).
