Well, I have no plans to read it, so you can tell me. Does the little four-eyed bastard get it in the end??? Are we finally rid of Harry Potter once and for all???

shut the fuck up you jealous bastard ... you know if you tried reading the books you might like them .. fun, easy to read, you flow from chapter to chapter anticipating the next one like and ice cold drink on a hot day, you care about the characters and you are with them all the way .. stop being a snobby little bitch get down from your high and mighty perch and ... either that or for grudens sake shut the fuck up about em ... even here in redneckville alabama there were 80 people at the store at midnight .. waiting for the release of the book

Wow, that was almost poetic. I think there's a writer inside of you just dying to get out.

I did try reading the first book. It didn't hold my attention 100 pages in. I'm not going to force myself to read something if it can't hold my attention after 100 pages. There are too many other good books out there. Maybe at some point in the future, I'll give it another shot. I don't have any plans to, but maybe. Perhaps it just didn't connect with me at that time, but somewhere down the line, it will. Who knows?

What I will say though, is even though I didn't enjoy the book, I really have to commend JK Rowling. She inspired millions upon millions of people to actually pick up a book and read. Lots of younger kids too. And that, I think is very awesome.
