So I have some interesting things happening to me right now. I was invited to go to Florida with the lady I babysit for in April and that's all right and good, until I discovered yesterday that she's only paying for my airfare and meals. I'm sharing a hotel room with her and her 3 kids...she told me I actually will have a kid in my bed with me. ( Read more... )

The error you may have made was agreeing before you knew all the terms of the agreement. The error she made was not spelling out all the terms of the agreement before trying to seal the agreement.
You have bills to pay; it's as simple as that. If you cannot afford to take the time off work, or simply do not want to make that financial sacrifice, then you are under no obligation to do so.
