A very enjoyable chapter to read. I like Veronica, she's a very unique girl. I also like your descriptions, they usually say as much about Jirarudan as whatever you're describing. And O_O an anxious note to end it on!
Yes, Veronica is...unique. That's one way of putting it.
Aaah descriptions are my weak point! I swear I could go whole fics just on dialogue! I hate describing things, especially filtered through characters who have no idea how to read others~
I know this will seem strange, but is it? I really don't even think about things like gender, not only when I write, but in general. It's an alien concept to me.
OHMYGOSH!!!!! I'm sorry this has taken me FOREVER to reply. But honestly, when I read it, I sat for a half hour just squeeing and giggling like a little schoolgirl
( ... )
Yeah, I wanted to establish Jirarudan's view of trainers here and there. I did so a bit earlier, despite him reading about the champion, but when the champion's words were contradicted by Asaph, that was one of the big steps for him.
I was worried that his difficulties would be hard to understand. I'm trying to establish that he really doesn't think like most people but I worry that I go over the top with it (despite it being something that he'd face on a daily basis).

Oh yes, big things are building up.

Don't worry about it, if you had a hard time writing those descriptions, I didn't notice it.
Cool, I'm looking forward to them!!
