The good news is Fipsters is back home AFTER A WEEK at the vet hospital. He'd been in ICU until I want to say Wednesday when he was transferred to supportive care and I talked to the vet about picking him up Saturday evening because two / three days off to monitor. He's himself again and can eat, drink, do doggie business all on his onesies

Does the vet have any idea what toxic substance he ingested? I still have a bad feeling about your neighbors. I have the NextDoor app on my iPad. This is a a way to connect with your neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods. It's invaluable for finding out what's going on in terms of activities, crime, items for sale, etc. I recommend it.
We had a rash of animal poisonings near us a few months ago. If there is some sort of pattern in your area, you might be able to find out & contact others. Not to mention, contact the police!
