They must have a canned response for just about everything. It's a giant bureaucracy. Does the President ever see any commoner's thoughts? I have to wonder.

Well supposedly he reads through emails every night. I suspect he still does and hand-writes the response and it's mass-spammed to the masses. I was hoping for a response from Joe Biden but my email to him was pretty much "I think you're awesome and I hope you have an awesome day."
