I think it's a mean trick. I don't believe they're taking Tennant away from us yet.

Or I'm in denial. I just refuse to believe it.

ALSO!!! (And no, I cannot be assed to edit my own entry, so I'm commenting.)

WHAT WAS WITH THE MASTER'S DRUMBEATS??? Also around Harriet Jones? We didn't see her skeletal green corpse! Does she still live? Is she working for the Master?? Where'd she get all that technology with which to contact every relevant character?? Simms was rumored seen in November on the set, and there's still the woman who plucked the Master's ring out of the ashes last season, but people thought it was his *wife*, and one of the forums says Tennant's still signed for another season, so is he gonna actually stay??? And be...10...and 11?? Can they even DO THAT? Are these menfolk people they'll have for, like, Season 6??

WHY GOD WHY.

This show hurts me. And I keep going back. :P

Just to give you the official word regarding Tennant: he is signed on through 2009, which are the Christmas special and the 3 TV movies that the BBC commissioned, in order to give Tennant a break and let him do shakespeare. (Tennant doing shakespeare = my wildest dreams come true. Guh.) In the last interviews Tennant's done, he's said that the contract for Series 5/2010 has not been discussed with him yet, and that he won't publicly make a decision either way until, y'know, Moffat even says something about maybe wanting him back. During the filming of Series 4 Catherine Tate opened her gob and started spreading rumours that Tennant was done, but he was extremely quick to squash them and say he had by no means ruled out Series 5. Also, in case you're still worried, there's footage of them shooting the Christmas Special floating around on youtube that very prominently shows Tennant in full Ten mode, so he's definitely still around ( ... )

i thought Nebbit was in Jekyll and though i loved him in that series and would have had hydes and jekylls babies he doesn't seem like the doctor type (especially like a dr with a daughter)

i was sad when there was no more chris and was highly opposed to david but i too love him now GRRR!!!

they better not fluff up and pick the wrong doctor
