Anyone on my friends list want a big male Altolamprologus calvus(Wc Congo inkin around 5"), not for free though, a 2-3" Lamprologus cylindricus, a 3-4" Syndontis eupterus catfish, and/or a juvie Red Empress cichlid? All would need an african cichlid tank(well, cept the catfish), no other sorts of fish.

I have a fish question for you... and trust your opinion.

Been toying with the idea of setting up a VERY CAT PROOF tank at home... I find them soothing and know my cat will find countless hours of fascination and entertainment with it. Are there any particularly hardy fish species that aren't shy or easily startled that might okay with that sort of "audience"?... or do you think getting a tank with my cat in mind is the wrong reason to start one and a bad idea?

I don't have much fish experience, mostly a snake girl myself. I had a betta that lived for 7 long years and some goldfish when I was younger... that's about it.

Bad idea?
