THe seller of this auction has just copied the product and listed it with the original oners pictures

Just rememer to use your own pictures, or you could get found out

I've used other people's pics before now if I'm selling an item that's the same, where condition of said item isn't an issue.

This person is going to get into more trouble to having hacked someone else's eBay account, whether or not they were ripped off.

??
The link you posted to is an auction by a user called 'mark-fett'. Halfway down the auction page is a load of stuff saying that mark-fett is an 'untalented wanker' etc. If that's not hacked, why would he say that about himself?

Whoever mark-fett originally stole/borrowed the images off has clearly hacked mark-fett's eBay account as revenge.

Its because he just copied the infomation from the original auction using cut and paste, so the original guy just changed his picture and it changed the picture that was used in that auction as well

Yup, I've used other peoples pics and ebay supply stock pics for cds anyway.

Well they are both committing fraud anyway - lucky for them 20th Century dont know about this or they'd both be looking at a big fine. I've always wondered how Ebay doesn't get into trouble over people selling pirate goods but I s'pose they say its not their responsibilty.

eBay has a big tick box when you advertise something which is designer label or similar saying 'I state that this is not a counterfeit item' and stuff. Once you've ticked that, the responsibility is passed from eBay onto you. Thus if law enforcement come along and say 'Hey, that's a fake' eBay turns your account over to the authorities and away they go.
